Description
What is a Career Strategy?
Strategy is one of the most misused words I’ve come across in my working life. Strategy isn’t planning. Planning is the implementation, all the admin that comes after you have developed a strategy. Most of the time, this is the part people dive into.
I prefer to follow the definition of advertising strategist Mark Pollard, “strategy is an informed opinion on how to win.” Having a strategic platform provides a guiding light that keeps you on track and you can filter all of your career-focused activities through.
This workshop is split across two days and is built around activities that will guide you through phases of research, creative thinking, testing your ideas, creating your strategic platform, looking at implementation steps, and ultimately learning a skillset use can use over and over again across your career.
